Capture schoolwork from any platform

Use the Chrome extension or Safari buttons to send an assignment, study resource, or announcement to Avello—even when that platform does not offer an integration.

Chrome extension · private pilot

Download once, then click the Avello toolbar icon for an assignment or right-click to choose assignment, study material, or announcement. Avello only receives the page you intentionally capture.

Download Avello Capture Extension

Open the downloaded ZIP file.
In Chrome, visit chrome://extensions and turn on Developer mode.
Choose Load unpacked and select the unzipped avello-extension folder.
Click the Avello icon or right-click a school page and choose Save to Avello.

Chrome requires these private-pilot steps until Avello is listed in the Chrome Web Store.

Safari setup

Enable the bookmarks bar (Safari → View → Show Favorites Bar).
Drag one of the buttons above into your Favorites bar.
On any page (Canvas, Google Docs, etc.), click the bookmarklet to capture it.

It will open Avello and prefill the Add modal with title, URL, type, and platform.
